Description

Soria Golf Club is very close to the provincial capital of Soria and next to the mythical Monte Valonsadero mountain. It is an 18-hole course, with practice course, putting green and chipping green, set in a wood of ancient oak trees and 1,100 metres above sea level, sheltered from the north and with fantastic views of the Pico Frentes mountain to the south. The course is 6,000 metres long and lies on an estate covering 720,000 m2. The design is highly varied, with a fantastic layout in which the huge trees come into play as do the seven lagoons, the streams which link them, and a whole host of other natural features which make this a fun course to play on, though also a demanding one. The course has a par of 72 and is graded medium/high in terms of difficulty.
