Why Teeup was born: the problem we solve
Golf in Spain has a problem that goes beyond booking or price. It has an access problem.
For decades, golf has grown inward: towards the fixed member, the same profile, the same channels. And meanwhile, an entire generation of potential players has been left out — not for lack of interest, but for lack of a real entry point.
Teeup was born from that conviction: that golf can and should be more accessible. Not cheaper by default, but more open. More connected to how new generations live, discover and decide.
We are a digital solution built by Spanish golfers for the Spanish ecosystem. We work alongside clubs, not apart from them, to activate demand that today doesn't reach through traditional channels.
Our purpose is to contribute to the sustainable growth of golf in Spain: driving demand, strengthening the community and building a real bridge between the digital world and the traditional club.

Historia
Our story
Teeup wasn't born in an accelerator or an investor pitch. It was born on a golf course, between two golfers who had long been seeing the same gap: a sport with enormous potential and an entire generation of players with no real entry point.
The idea started taking shape in 2024. No rush, no pressure, worked on alongside day jobs. But the more we analysed it, the more obvious it became that there was something real there. Something that deserved more than a side project.
At the end of 2025 we made the decision: leave everything and build it for real.
The idea takes shape
First months of ecosystem analysis, conversations with golfers and reflection on what Spanish golf really needed.
First contacts with the sector
Beginning of contact with clubs to test the waters. Model validation and first signals of interest from the sector.
Decision to go full-time
Platform development kicks off, active outreach to courses and brands.

The project starts to have a public presence.

Founder & CEO
A mechanical engineer by training, he has spent years managing projects in the software sector. Along the way he has built his own expertise in design, product and marketing, which he applies directly at Teeup today. A lifelong golfer, he founded the project to remove the entry barriers he saw every day: those that keep new players away from golf and those that prevent courses from connecting with them. He built the tool he was missing for his friends and for the rest of Spain's golfers.
Jon
Co-founder & CTO
Jon has built his career through practice: several development degrees and a path that led him to lead technical teams at his last companies. With experience in iOS, Android and web development, he is the architect of the Teeup platform from its foundations. He has shared the vision from day one and is the person who turns every product decision into real code.
