El Bierzo Golf Club is located in Congosto, on the shores of the Bárcena reservoir and just 10 minutes from Ponferrada, in a unique setting for golf in north-western Spain. Surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the mountains and countryside of the El Bierzo region, and very close to the Camino de Santiago, the course is easily accessible from the A-6 motorway. Its 9-hole layout, expandable to 18 holes through different tee positions, has a par of 72 and is technical on some holes, combining challenge and fun for players of all levels. Facilities include a semi-covered driving range, a putting green and a clubhouse with a games area and its own restaurant, where you can sample local cuisine with dishes such as botillo, stews and regional broths.
