Description

Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club is a 36-hole complex in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), inside the Novo Sancti Petri estate and a short walk from the Blue Flag beach of La Barrosa. It was designed by Severiano Ballesteros: it opened in 1990 with 27 holes, and Seve returned in 2001 to add nine more, which now form holes 5 to 13 of course B. Play is split over two par-72 courses: A, "Mar y Pinos" (Sea and Pines), with Atlantic views from several holes, and B, "Centro". The American-style layout alternates long, wide fairways —ideal for big hitters— with lakes that come into play on many shots, among palms, pines and cork oaks. The nine Pinos holes (holes 10 to 18 of course A) reopen on 28 September 2026 after a full renovation of grass, tees, greens and paths. Its practice facilities are among the best in Spain: more than 8,000 m² of flat driving range, several putting and approach areas and short par-3 holes to work on the short game. The club also has a golf academy, a pro shop, the Los Olivos and El Chozo restaurants and croquet lawns. The Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa and Royal Andalus hotels are a three-minute walk from the course.
